Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a donut pan.
In a bowl, combine dry ingredients; almond flour, unsweetened cocoa, maca powder, baking soda and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk wet ingredients; maple syrup, coconut oil, coconut milk, egg and vanilla extract.
Carefully pour batter into donut pan. Shake pan a little to even batter. If desired, drop about 5-6 chocolate chips into donuts.
Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center of the donut comes out clear, about 15 minutes. Let donuts cool on wire rack before removing from the molds.
